The function of industrial counseling, which specializes in consulting on the mental health of people working in industrial fields, can be classified into two categories. The first function, the information provision function, refers to the counselor providing advice and information to the employee on issues related to company rules or work performance. It is a function that provides counseling and advice on psychological issues such as personal relationships and personality. The function of an industrial counselor is similar to that of a company's grievance handling system. However, in the case of the grievance committee, it is basically composed of executive-level employees and is mainly operated in terms of labor management and labor management, so the function of an actual counselor is almost unfamiliar. The areas of activity of industry counselors and industry counselors are diverse. Industrial counseling and the activities of industrial counselors are possible at industrial sites and wherever workers need mental health (mental health).
